The hotel and restaurant is located on the edge of the village of Château-Arnoux, just 14 km south of Sisteron and 40 km north of Manosque.

By car

Coming from North: take the motorway until Grenoble, then the RN75 road via Sisteron of the RN85 (Route Napoléon) via Gap, then take the A51 motorway until exit no 21 (Aubignosc). La Bonne Étape is 3 km from this exit.

Coming from the South (Marseille, Monaco, Montpellier, Cannes, Nice):

Take the A51 motorway. Do not exit at Château Arnoux-St Auban, but rather at the next exit at Aubignosc (no 21), then head towards Château-Arnoux. La Bonne Étape is 3 km from this exit.

The Route Napoleon (N85) takes you from the French Alps to the Côte d’Azur. Located mid-way, La Bonne Étape is the perfect place to stop.

The canyon of Verdon with its gorgeous vistas will lead you from Cannes or Saint-Tropez up to ours.

The Luberon: follow the road from Avignon (120 km by the N100 road) which will take you through a number of charming villages and sites like Apt and Forcalquier.
